MO Gas.
MO Money.

Missouri lets you claim a refund on state motor fuel taxes — but you have to keep the receipts, do the math, and file Form 4923-H yourself. MOgas MOmoney handles all of that. Log purchases as you go, watch the refund total build, and have the form ready when filing time comes.

What it does

01

Fuel log

Log purchases by date, gallons, seller name, and address. Attach a receipt photo while you're still at the pump.

02

Receipt scanning

Point the camera at your receipt and the app fills in the fields. Everything happens on your phone — nothing leaves it.

03

Refund calculator

Your running refund total updates with every receipt. Watch the number grow all year.

04

Form 4923-H prefill

When it's time to file, the app pre-populates the Missouri DOR form with your data. You review it and send it in.

05

Vehicle profiles

Store make, model, year, VIN, fuel type, and weight class. Works with multiple vehicles.

Who it's for

Missouri's motor fuel tax refund program is for personal and passenger vehicles under 26,000 lbs — regular drivers who buy taxed fuel at the pump and qualify for a refund under RSMo § 142.822.

Commuters. Families. Small business owners with personal vehicles. People who've been leaving money on the table because dealing with receipts and government forms just wasn't worth the hassle.

MOgas MOmoney makes it worth it. The refund was always yours — now there's no excuse not to claim it.

The workflow is simple: you buy fuel, you log it — either by scanning the receipt or typing it in. The app tracks everything and keeps a running refund estimate. When the filing window opens (July–September), you export a prefilled Form 4923-H, give it a once-over, and mail it to the Missouri Department of Revenue. That's it.

On-device OCR

Receipt scanning runs on Google's ML Kit Text Recognition, processed entirely on your device. Your photos and receipt data never touch Google's servers, REQS TECH's servers, or anyone else's. See ML Kit terms for details.

Sensitive fields — SSNs, FEINs, bank account details — are stored using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences, tied to your device's lock screen credential. We have no copy of your data and can't recover it for you. That's the point.

MOgas MOmoney is built and published by REQS TECH, a division of TYPICAL LLC, based in Missouri. Not affiliated with the Missouri Department of Revenue.
